Consider this, please, essentially an RFC - this particular behaviour was
available previously in Beryl, and was (at least according to
screenshots/casts) widely used.

With an easy metadata setup, this sounds like a very good idea in my opinion.
Restricted string options are a pain especially for i18n, as obviously the
restricted values are in C/en_US but we need to display to the end user the
proper i18n'd value, which would be far easier in this method, as
I'm a bit new to git and having trouble figuring out just how to get the git
format-patch into kmail properly, so I'm going to attach the text to this
message. If there is a better way, please let me know.
