Yes, this is still an issue. There has not been any activity in this
report because I stopped using compiz and because apparently no one has
worked on it since it was marked confirmed at the end of January.

There is no way to fix this, it is a side-effect of how the panel works
and fixing that would require rewriting a couple standards, patching
every window manager, and drastically changing every panel-like thing to
match.

You can't reproduce it with the default gnome panel setup. In order to
reproduce the bug, the panel containing the window list must have its
"Expand" property turned off. Once you do that, the bug appears
sporadically.

I've been using 9.04 for a while now, and for whatever reason the bug
hasn't exposed itself for at least a month (maybe 2 .. since my post on
