i have been experimenting wid the system and i found a way to remove

Alright, thanks for the update. I'm closing this bug as fixed as for
non-nvidia users that is the case and for nvidia users it is Won't Fix
until bug 160264 is fixed or we find a workaround. Lucid at least should
have a workaround for this problem but I'm not sure I'll have it ready

It is not fixed for the actual Jaunty by now I think. There is just a
workaround via the PPA-package.
