Are we sure this is an ATI/radeon issue? The thin client that is
affected for me is a via based mini-itx with integrated on-board
graphics. Problems arise regardless of what I specify as X_SERVER
(nothing, vesa, via or openchrome) in the lts.conf. Also, if I boot
karmic directly on the
Jon, the issue in this report is a radeon issue. It does not cover all
LTSP issues :) Please file a new bug report if you have similar (but not
identical) issues.

After upgrading to Jaunty I am experiencing random freezes. I am assigning it
to the xorg radeon driver because when it happens I am not doing anything else
but scrolling, swapping windows or desktops,
Compiz actually manages the blacklist here. I think there is already a
bug report for blacklisting older ati cards, but just setting to compiz
for their review for now.

Can confirm this is still a problem with fully patched Ubuntu 9.10 64bit
system. Using compiz, NVIDIA driver, dual screens (Twinview not separate
X screen).
