If you use a graphic tablet the EdgeFlipping is not well implemented.
When dragging a window to e.g. the right corner the mouse cursor stays
on the right side until the last workspace on the right is reached. All
workspaces in between not
I have tried to duplicate, with the latest updates and it isn't happen
for me in either classic gnome or unity. So we should probably just
close this unless I can duplicate again.

I cannot reproduce any of the artifacts anymore with chromium or other
applicatoins with which I had noticed the issues previously. The main
change being the stackattack removal (rev. 2751) and the additional
xsync on XUngrabServer (rev. 2752).

Same problem here:
nvidia card (Geforce 6200) with nvidia official driver (270.41.06) + compiz
i can use the dock and unity but every window is blank white until i resize it

It's not possible that WallScreen::get () will give you an invalid
pointer, the only screen variable available is global, it is not
touched by plugins and WallScreen::get () would crash on its own if it
was passed an invalid pointer rather than giving an invalid pointer
itself to a WallScreen *.

invisible window again
From the analysis of the reports (this bug and duplicates), it seems
that the problem occurs on high-end GPUs and creates a race condition
triggering an exception that itself crashes Compiz.
The problem doesn't happen on particular GPUs, ie we cannot just
blacklist some of them.
The error is not
closed the unity bug as this is clearly caused by a compiz plugin which
is not enabled by default.

are placed about launcher_width to fare to the left.
This happens with System Monitor but not with Firefox.
