Totally agree, this bug has been on and off in a few releases. It
definitely needs a higher priority. It's one of the first things I

I'm testing the new compiz-testing-0.9.5.0 :
with this new bits, I lost the reaction of the windows control buttons .
I think it is related to the Fact that unity can't run with this Compiz. ( I

both nvidia and intel.

second to respond to a single keystroke. When typing faster it catches
up, so it seems more like a delay to react to the input. Same happens

Switching to 2d, the responsiveness to keystrokes is back to normal. The
window dragging is a bit better though still feels lagging (maybe that
is a feature...). Also top does not show any higher load.
