different workspaces quickly after each other, desktop wall detects it
as a double click, and switches to the last desktop I clicked. I think

What I just noticed is that everything in the corrupted windows seems to
be in the right place and just the view is corrupted. As you can see in
the image the cursor is much lower than the selected tab, in the place
where the tab should actual be.

Daniel, the non-standard setting I have is my launcher icons are 32x32.
In Oneiric, the issue is improved for me, but not completely fixed. For
some applications, I can drag them smoothly from the top to the bottom.
For others, I must drag them quickly, or their title bar gets stuck at
the bottom
This has been resolved in Oneiric.

Sorry, I think my issue is with the fix, as well as the situation

In my case I have click to raise DISABLED but still expect META+CLICK to

I'm glad I found this post. I'm experiencing the same problem on three
different machines running Ubuntu 11.10:
1. a Sony Vaio VPC F11S1E (GeForce GT330M),
2. a generic AMD A8 Fusion box with a GeForce GTX460, and
3. an iMac (2009 model) with a GeForce 9400.
