I have had the same bug. I have a dual nvidia card (2 or 4 monitors) ge
440 and gt 550 ti. The problem is only when I try to use xinerama mode
in unity 3d with dual card. gone 3 does not work. unity 2d and kde+kwin

Now after login there is no option to invoke any shortcut.
It needs a mouse move to view the hidden launcher, then open for example gedit

@Kalsan: thanks for the tip. The Shift Switcher also seems to be causing
the right-click problem.
The problem with this bug report is that is corresponds to a crash with
the same error message but under different conditions and with a
different compiz version, whereas the right-click problem is in

experimentation I determined that a magic combination of both width and
height must be reached for the decoration to work properly (provided
that at least one side exceeds 1280 pixels).

I am still experiencing this in precise, either with fglrx 8.911
(included in the repos) or fglrx 8.950 (Catalyst 12.2, installed
manually from packages built by the installer).
Side note: this fglrx update did wonders with gnome-shell, this might as
well be a bug with fglrx as pointed out by Łuka
Workaround described in comment #9 doesn't seem to apply to Precise.
