I noticed this bug in 12.04 with normal windows too:
1. Use ccsm to set a slow window open animation.
2. Right click on desktop and select Change Desktop Background.
3. You will see the bottom of the window is missing for a couple of frames
during the open animation.
You have to be very observant

Whenever there are graphical problems with Unity-3D, compiz disables the
Unity plugin.
The next time (after recovering from the crash), Unity-3D will crash
upon login, and unity-panel-service won't start because the plugin

1) start application1
2) switch virtual desktops
3) start application2
4) switch back to application1
5) maximize application1
6) minimize application1
7) switch virtual Desktops to application2
8) click the launcher icon of application1
