Not sure if I applied the potential fix correctly. I added the ppa,
performed an update, and installed the new compiz packages from the
update. I just saw the white-box again (maybe 14-15 hours after doing
the upgrade). I attached my xwininfo in case that helps.

When close applications in gnome classic session (ubuntu 12.04)panels
disappears and there is no way to do any thing except cl

assigned to reveal all windows in all worspaces, only windows from the
present workspace are shown instead.
This greatly affects my workflow as scale was a swift way to swich
between workspaces, now I have to activate workspace switc

switch to "show desktop", then I switch to another windows, all the

Yep in the code there are matches for menus as well, but they seem to
cause issues there and there. If the shadow clipping is done with a
redraw as it is now, it's better not to clip at all.
