when firefox was maximized last time it run, then it is maximized again
when restarted. but then there is a small gap at the right side of the
window where the desktop background image is visiable (maybe 3 pixels or
so).
when i unmaximize it and maximize

desktop to bring up additional menu, the menus/lists are all black and
the options cannot be seen.
I added a camera shot of the issue occurring from thunderbird when I
right click a folder
