It's not possible grab window properties of menus, drop down lists,
toolboxes, etc. CCSM initiates grab immediately, thus it's not possible
to focus on the specific window and initiate action to show the wanted
GUI element.
It would be great if there was a default delay, or e
@vps1992: It's not expected for the entire system to freeze. Disabling
the terminal bell means everything works, for instance.

I confirm the behaviour from Comment #8 and the workaround. Disabling
the "Animations" Compiz plugin fixes this issue for me.

Still an issue on 13.04 w/compiz 0.9.9.0. Too lazy to file new bug.
Normal is unusable. Very hard to do responsive web development like

The Ctrl+Alt+Num shortcuts were fixed in saucy (bug #878820), but the
Ctrl+Alt+Numpad 5 one behaves inconsistently.
What happens:
Pressing it once makes the window take the full screen, pressing it a
second time maximizes it, and a third time restores it to full-screen
size,
