I was having an issue with this and found a solution. I installed CCSM (CompizConfig Settings Manager) and under the general/composite settings I unchecked Undecorate Fullscreen Windows and haven't had a problem since then. I've tried it in Saucy versions of Lubuntu, Ubuntu and Ubuntu Trusty. --
