I can confirm the occasional desktop freezes with the testing ppa
version of compiz. It seems the flickering doesnt appear anymore but in
my case desktop froze a few times with keyboard not responding at all
and mouse pointer beeing able to move in single steps every few seconds.

Hi all, I was having issues with flickering with all nvidia drivers with
versions higher than the default 331.79. Found this report and added the
ppa. I have two nvidia systems on Utopic and it seems working correctly
on 450GTS card. I will try later on 660Ti and give it some testing. Now
