(In reply to comment #26) If a patch to xorg-video-ati fixes a bug while using fglrx, that would be surprising indeed. The component field of this report says Radeon. It's unlikely for fglrx and radeon to be affected by one and the same bug. It's possible that fglrx has a similar bug though.
