The configuration SHOULD have been attached as GconfCompiz.txt (I filed
with ubuntu-bug compiz), but clearly it is not present. As per request,
attaching the output of:
$ gconftool --dump /apps/compiz-1 > GconfCompiz.xml
FWIW ...
$ ls -ld .gconf/apps/compiz*
drwx-- 3 noel noel 4096 2010-

The Desktop Cube has recently stopped working for me in Natty. I've
chatted with Travis, and here's where things stand:
I've reinstalled compiz-fusion-plugins-extra, disabled and renabled the
necessary plugins -- enabled Wall, which disabled Cube
Sorry, but I can still easily get windows with their title bars behind
the gnome-panel.
