"Workarounds" plugin, it seems to have fixed my issue in Manjaro Xfce.

Seeing this when trying to activate the D-Bus plugin on two Manjaro
machines running Compiz 0.9.13.1. Another Manjaro machine and an Arch
Linux machine show no such problem. So, smurf, a workaround is to just
disable the D-Bus plugin in the Compiz settings. However, I'd like to
use the D-Bus plugin

I experience the same bug in Manjaro Linux Xfce with Xfce + Compiz
0.9.13.1. Looking at the latest comment it seems to me that the fix is
only for Mate, but not for Xfce (only mate.ini has been edited for the
fix by Martin).

I experience the same bug on Arch Linux with Okular and Compiz 0.8.8. In
~/.kde/share/config/okularrc the option "Fullscreen=false" is already
set. However, there is following entry in this file:

Will this be backported to Quantal?

I can confirm the problem on Xubuntu 13.04 with gtk-window-decorator.
Workaround for me:
1. Unmaximize the affected window
2. Adjust the window size to fill the screen
3. Never maximize it again :)
