[Compiz] [Bug 1067951] Re: Firefox loses window decorations in GNOME Classic and MATE with Compiz

Try toggling the “Keep previews of minimized windows” setting in the "Workarounds" plugin, it seems to have fixed my issue in Manjaro Xfce. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/

Seeing this when trying to activate the D-Bus plugin on two Manjaro machines running Compiz 0.9.13.1. Another Manjaro machine and an Arch Linux machine show no such problem. So, smurf, a workaround is to just disable the D-Bus plugin in the Compiz settings. However, I'd like to use the D-Bus plugin

I hope, somebody will read this comment though the bug is already closed. I experience the same bug in Manjaro Linux Xfce with Xfce + Compiz 0.9.13.1. Looking at the latest comment it seems to me that the fix is only for Mate, but not for Xfce (only mate.ini has been edited for the fix by Martin).

I can confirm the problem on Xubuntu 13.04 with gtk-window-decorator. Workaround for me: 1. Unmaximize the affected window 2. Adjust the window size to fill the screen 3. Never maximize it again :) Which has the disadvantage that the window is always quasi-fullscreen, but for most of the cases th

By the way, I was able to solve this problem by change the mouse polling time as described here http://www.urbanterror.info/forums/topic/21844 -howto-changing-mouse-polling-rate-on-ubuntu/ on Oneiric/Precise, but on Quantal this lead to the USB driver not being loaded at startup at all, so the mous
