Out commenting own_window_class didn't help after logout and reboot. Now after login there is no option to invoke any shortcut. It needs a mouse move to view the hidden launcher, then open for example gedit again in order to open the dash via super-key or switch workspaces. -- You received this

Recent Oneiric update of unity 4.28.0-0ubuntu2 fixed the focus issue. Now it's possible to close an application and without mouse click intervention it accepts shortcut ctrl+alt+arrow in order to switch the workspace. After closing an application global menu automatically toggles to 'desktop'.

Reproducable. Run gdb backtrace against totem. Totem window darkens, ctrl+c in terminal doesn't help, no key inputs accepted. Totem needs to be killed. Terminal needs to be killed also. Then unity-window-decorator crashes. Run alt+f2 unity --replace, then compiz crashes. ** Attachment added:
