For what its worth, I have this bug with mainly Thunderbird and very occasionally Firefox if I'm editing bookmarks. But I virtually never use more than one compiz workspace and still have the problems. Maybe I'm in the wrong bug report, but it doesn't seem in my case, like this is due to switchin

I've been dealing with this one on not only my ubuntu 10.10 machine, but my parent's 10.04 machine in another house for months now. So I'm positive, this is not just personal settings on my machine, which are at fault. I have noticed the behaviour occasionally in Firefox. But its mainly a Thunde
