Ok, to clarify: this happens with the radeon driver too. I try to start unity since the first alpha versions, never got it work. The only thing that has changed is that I get an Info in the latest dailys that my hardware is not supported (ATI X600M). Compiz on 10.10 runs smooth with the free driver
