I think this update has caused another bug - right clicking anywhere when running compiz - 1:0.9.7.0+bzr3035-0ubuntu1 in kde 4.8.1 (running latest updates in 12.04) causes the window decorations and panels to disappear and the windows all become fixed on the desktop. I can't find a log that shows

For me, the seg-fault was caused by not having installed the compiz-kde package. Once it was installed, compiz began to run without issues. Of course, the Compiz default settings are now to have everything turned off, including window decorations, so even once it began working, it didn't look
