I've removed compiz from my 64bit Ubuntu workstation. Every upgrade/improvement has only made it worse. If I want to demo it to someone, I have it on my legacy 32bit Unbuntu workstation. If they ask about the two large displays, I tell them the truth. -- compiz fails to start with dual monitor
