This is very likely a per-application bug rather than a compiz bug: The example dialogue presented is nvidia's control panel, which does not allow resizing at certain points. If there are better examples that can be reproduced on later versions of Ubuntu, please present them and reopen this bug

It really damages ubuntu experience on netbooks. Needs fixing. If I maximize window, which is taller than 600px, then the windows doesn't fit the sceen AND the window begins to move on every click on it. The application is made unuseable by this bug. ** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu) Status:
