re-opening because after a set of updates it has started occurring again
when i was starting to work on a required tutorial for school... i will

it really seems like compiz is the problem.the only one i had it
enabled in what the unity desktop and after enabling it in the other
environments the same thing happen with or without the dock..i have
tried it in unity, unity2D, the classic gnome, xfce, and kdeall of
them showed the sa
thanks for the bug report. Can you try different configurations like
first disable the dock you are using at the bottom and see if the issue
happens. also please try to reproduce the same problem in Classic
Session just to check if the reported issue is in unity or compiz.
