Tried this using 'xset dpms force off' and then moving the mouse →
confirming with nvidia-current, not getting it with nouveau and intel.

Compiz also seems to have a bad memory leak right now, but that's for
another bug report I assume. Starts at 50 Mb ends at +500 MB and stays
there. Come to think of it it could be the Unity plug-in also.
