I just tested on the Toshiba Tecra R850 from comment #1, with Oneiric Alpha 3, and confirmed there is corruption on both displays when an external screen is plugged in. The internal screen shows a garbled area at the top, while the external screen is entirely garbled and totally unusable. This is

Hi, I just retested this with the Oneiric image from 20110823. Tests were done with ATI Technologies Inc NI Seymour [AMD Radeon HD 6470M] graphics on a Toshiba Tecra R850. Behavior is now improved and I can't reproduce the original problem. External screen works fine with no compiz crashes, I
