For reference, in my case, activating D-Bus and Command plugins
destabilises my desktop to the point that Compiz crashes, so there is no
effective workaround.

Now that pulling from all workspaces has a commited fix there is no
'functional' reason to not allow this binding to be set
return of from all - Bug 933776
A working binding can be set thru dbus a command but users shouldn't
have to do this..
