It is a good idea to write a press release with the key points laid out in the 
form of an article. Quote yourself in your press release - "Go Researcher 
Sylvain Gelly said yadda yadda." Many published articles are almost direct 
copies of press releases. This way, you can encourage more accurate quotes of 
your views.

I have had quite good experiences with the press so far, with only one 
exception. I once violated Mark Twain's suggestion to "never pick a fight with 
people who buy ink by the barrel." I also learned a long time ago to put the 
most important material at the top of a press release, since the tail may be 
snipped.
