For anyone watching this thread, I'd just like to pass on that we fixed
Paula's sound issue. Both she and I located a free application called
MPEG StreamClip.

Sometimes there are glitches in transmission of the installer files
that wouldn't happen if you download and install locally. I always
download updates first, then install locally.
