I recently bought a computer from a friend, who delivered it with an account already set up for me. Before dinner, I enabled the requirement for logins. After dinner, I discovered that the password he gave me doesn't work. I have a phone call in to him to confirm the password, but I'm wondering

Kinda...as Tom said it takes ten minutes and that was probably counting download time and making the disk, probably getting coffee too. Always with the caveat that you can hoser said system. Although I've reset a dozen machines and never had an issue. This is a good utility to keep in your stash

The Full Story (my apologies for not coming-clean, initially): The computer is a two year old MacBook Pro, and I am new to Apple products. My friend configured it to dual boot into Windows XP and Leopard, using Boot Camp, and now I am locked out of the XP boot. Does this change the recommendation
