That is BS. Adobe profits are up by 23% this quarter. When they
instituted their onerous copy protection they assured us that it would
allow them to lower prices -- the liars.
LOL! That gave me a chuckle, Tom. Adobe follows the same path of

Photoshop is still the standard. My son took a photography class a

What he was talking about was the CS suite that Adobe sells. The
individual component is cheaper which is good news.

As a working photographer, this whole thread is quite

Many coverdisks on the magazines I buy at Barnes and Noble have a
free 30 day trial of Adobe CS3. Have the daughter install it first
on her machine, then when it runs out, put it on a friend's machine
to finish her work if need be.

Actually, Photoshop retails (academic version) for about $270 for the
whole extended version.
That's right. Adobe offers very good deals to students. Go to an
established vendor like academicsuperstore.com.

I doubt it.
If the teacher is requiring it, they should supply an educational
discount for it.
Adobe has a very good education discount program.

You can see if the check has been presented for payment yet.

I always look at feedback for the seller. Also look at how long they

A relative newcomer with a 100% feedback is not reliable. But
feedback less than %100 is also not reliable you need to read what
