is air.iso still the new newest version?
I saw mandrake 7.0 in the mandrake iso directory, is this the final release to
be shipped in february.

Info works fine when invoked on the comand line, but for some reason the
info package in xemacs doesn't appear to be set up right since it doesn't
find any info-files whatsoever :)

Of course not !
You have to install at same time all the depending packages.
Eg 'ispell-en' depends on 'ispell', but 'ispell'

Congratulations to the AIR team, Mandrake Linux 7.0 really does all it said

Personal Good Points :-
1) GFCC on the CD - IPChains has never been sooo easy
2) ISDN Support in the kernel (not just with packages) The installation even
includes ifcfg-ippp0 AND ifcfg-isdn
3) DrakeCONF is

This one with dosemu, limited architecture to i386 and i586. Makes me
ask... what happened to the i486? :o)
Anyways, K6, i486, and i686 should be supportable in the spec file.

Get Your Private,
Why is it that netscape keeps crashing with a bus error? I thought bus
errors were because of hardware problems and to my knowledge none of my
hardware is bad.
Any ideas?

Many shells will kill all their children when they exit. See if your shell
supports the "disown" command. If so, disown any children you want to
I realize that this is really an RPM issue, but I am wondering if it is
in how RPMs are being built or a problem with rpm itself? I have:
$ rpm -q kernel
kernel-2.2.14-15mdk
$ rpm -q kernel-fb
kernel-fb-2.2.14-12mdk
kernel-fb-2.2.14-15mdk
kernel-fb-2.2.14-15mdk
kernel-fb-2.2.14-15bjm
If you exit the terminal by typing "exit"
Then whatever is launched in the background stays running
