I'm sorry ... I should have been more specific. MandrakeUpdate
doesn't work behind my companies ftp firewall and I think the
problem is that MandrakeUpdate uses passive mode ftp transfers
which are not supported by the firewall. I can't see any
selection for turning off ftp passive mode in Mand

typical Mandrake installations you must run it as the root user. The GUI is not

This happens since the first precompiled Mandrake Kernel i used.

After going from 7.2 to cooker my mouse wheel no longer works.. I have a
Logitech Cordless Mouseman Wheel (formerly known as Mouseman+) and after
