I've tried too to upgrade to KDE2 on a Mandrake 7.1, but there were too many
failed dependencies. Moreover, I didn't find libkmid.so (I think this is the
correct name). At the end I decided to give up!

P.S: I'm a newbie. since KDE2 has deleted my wmsession file, I don't know
which line to add in the xinitrc file to make Gnome work!
