Hi,

When I updated my kernel to the 2.4.20-2mdk version,
my network did'nt work anymore. It could'nt get a dhcp ip adres, nor can I
ping to other computers if I set a manual adres.
I have a ISA 3Com Etherlink III 3C509B which works fine in Knoppix 3.1 with
2.4.20 kernel (same 3c5x9 driver of 16Oct2002).
On another computer whith +- same configuration & 2.4.20-2mdk
kernel there is no problem (other nic).

some information :

when booted with 2.4.20-2mdk kernel :

dmesg output (apart from the version, this is the same as in 2.4.19)
