I'm running Linux Mandrake 7.2 on a Gateway system. All of my hardware was
supported suprisingly, including the modem. I did have to do a bit of
reading to make things work but I managed to work it all out. My system is
Intel based, a P-III 450 but I don't see why one of their AMD based systems
wouldn't work the same. I myself prefer Intel by a large margin. That's my
two cents.
