I can't run the installation when booting from the CD since beta 1, i.e. beta
2, 3 and RC1 all fails. It works in my laptop though, which has a Sony CD-RW
CRX700E. The CD boots up fine, but after I have whacked enter in the first
screen it can't detect my Plextor CD-RW 8432, which is my only CD
This question is a bit off topic ... but why isn't KDE 2.0.1 available via
MandrakeUpdate for 7.2 yet ???

I have for the last two days (I update my mirror daily) tried to install
cooker using hd.img. I get stuck in the X install stage. It says it can't
find the 'XFree86-XFree86-server' rpm. It doesn't matter if I choose 3.3.6 or
4.0.1 (should be 4.0.2 in the dialog btw).
I guess the problem is in

I tried the network.img to install cooker, but it hangs on "Please wait,
Looking for available packages". At this point, the last line in the third
console is "psUsingHdlists read 1696 headers on 1 hdlists".
Perhaps I am a bit optimistic to think that is should be possible to install
the cooke
