on this list, that KDE3b1 RPMS are packaged so KDE3 can run parallel to the
stable KDE2.2.2. Well I quess this is not quite the case with the 8.1 RPMS,

Glide_V3-DRI-cvs-1mdk.i586.rpm
Glide_V3-DRI-devel-cvs-1mdk.i586.rpm
And they akll conflict because od a library link, try to fix that.

I have a problem with Mandrake Update in mdk7.2. When I run it it show's an
empty list. If I try to change the version to 7.1 it shows a few packages bot
none for 7.2. When I log into the mirror and enter the dir, the dir is full.
Why is that?

If you're talking about the berkley db, then you should download the
db1,db2,db3 rpms. Those libraries have beensplit from the glibc package.

ftp.linux-mandrake.com/incoming.
I hope you try it out and point out any problems that you find with it.
I hat to change quite a few things in the Makefiles to make it compatible with
Mandrake 7.1
