for all those who want to use the cooker rpms of mozilla with their
mandrake 8.1, i've rebuild the source rpm. you can find them here:
http://rpm.digitalprojects.com.
they work just fine with the galeon 1.0 rpm from
http://galeon.sourceforge.net. both display pngs as expected.

i've copied 2 new items to my .kde/share/applnk-mdk dir. after reboot
they are gone. do i have to use menudrake for this or is there any other
way to preserve my changes?

yup, try running nspluginscan from konsole. this helped when i had
problems using ns plugins.

You can download them here: http://rpm.digitalprojects.com.
They install fine, but the unsupported xfree4.02 rpms seem not to
support antialiasing. I'm going to compile new xfree rpms from cooker
tomorow. I hope this will help.
