reas a reboot will. Perhaps even a
change of runlevels from 5 to 1 and back may fix it but I have not yet
tried. If the X server is restarted, and you log in again, you will get
the above messages consistantly. Perhaps there are others that have
experienced this but just are not aware of it. :)

I too have experienced the same issue. I have not however attempted to
duplicate it. It appears to have been introduced with the more recent kde
betas (i.e. just before 9.0 release).

#x27;ve got the exact same problem. The lirc_i2c module loads (as well as
lirc_dev) but no device ever shows up in /dev running devfs. I looked at the
source included in the kernel-source rpm and it says it's registering the
device but the compiled module does no such thing.

. I would speculate that the contents of the panel.desktop file is not
up to par with what needs to be in it. I'll leave that up to those in the
know. :)
