[Cooker] Floppy images vs old ISO

If I am trying a later installer boot diskette for 7.0, can I use a CD I burned about 2 weeks ago? Or do I need to burn another CD? (I cannot use a network/ftp install, because I don't think it supports token ring on the diskette.) By the way, speaking of diskettes: Why is it that Slackware
