I have downloaded Beta 3 and it successfully detects the partitions now.
i get an error : insmod'ing module HPTRAID failed at

I have done some more testing on this problem to ensure it is not to do with
dodgy disks.

I tried passing pci=noacpi but it didn't fix the problem. It meant my USB mouse
stopped working at the license screen and it took longer to get to the errors.
