Why the hell has it been separated from kde network??? This seems futile IMHO.

Cheers

I can confirm : this bug is still valid in RC2. kdenetwork-kppp is not installed
by default, which is illogical and annoying (gnome-ppp does not work for me) for
KDE users.

creation_date: description: On 9.1 beta 3, selecting an install of kde workstation did not automatically
install the kdenetwork-kppp package. At first, I thought it might be because I
didn't have modem installed (well I had a winmodem, installed, but it doesn't
work until I install drivers for it), but I noticed the gnome-ppp package
installed. the kdenetwork package installed, just not the kdenetwork-kppp.
