As of 9.1RC1, there is still no option in Mandrake to set the physical dimension
of the display. This means that, for a laptop, with 15" screen and 1600x1200
resolution, the fonts are TINY!

The fix is below. It would be nice to have a GUI tool for this,but if it's too
late, may I advise that you mention it in the text which accompanies the tool.


Add this line to /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 after

Section "Monitor"
    Identifier "Generic|Generic Laptop Display Panel 1600x1200"
    VendorName "Generic"
    ModelName  "Unknown"
