           Product: kernel
         Component: default
Summary: atmarpd causes kernel oops (net/atm/clip.c)
           Product: kernel
           Version: 2.4.22-7mdk
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: default
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

To reproduce: atmarpd -b -l syslog

(atmarpd is from the linux-atm package;
you need to configure ATM support and
CLIP - classical IP over ATM). I think this
is a known bug in 2.4.22 - a patch was
posted on the linux-atm mailing list
(http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=3045331&forum_id=7159)
and went into 2.4.23-pre. Here is the oops:

Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000010
 printing eip:

*pde = 00000000
