I have installed beta 2 of Mandrake 7.
so far the only couple of items I have seen screwed are:
When I first installed X I was getting an .Xauthority problem when writting
changes to it
that was solved changing permissions.
The second item... Missing most of the applications from the menu...

Well after getting Mandrake 7.1 Beta 2 installed
this weekend with the cdrom.img file using a
text mode installation, I wanted to make a few
comments.
After installing, UDMA or ata/66 was not enabled
by default with the 2.2.15 kernel, and since I had
prior success with 2.2.13 kernel

Maybe i had a bad cd burn but when i did custom install, developer class,
100% install, when switching to the extensions cd the install hangs for
me for about 3 minutes. It was in the middle of kpppsomethingorother at the
time.
By the way, i want to have your children. 7.1 kicks serious
