Hi
yup. I was installing on /dev/hda4 and one thing I noticed so far is that
if I install with the Raid Bios turned off in the main bios everything
works fine. I can even switch it back on after the install.
Haven't yet had the opportunity to reinstall and recheck the lilo.conf

can you check lilo.conf? (if you use lilo.conf)
maybe you could diff with lilo.conf from 8.2

test no Harddrives attached to the raid controller.
One IBM 80Gb Harddrive attached to the primary IDE controller. One
Panasonic DVD and one Lite
