When booting RC3 with the framebuffer on, everything starts off fine, but part way through the boot sequence, the text displayed in the boot window goes from being graphical, to black (looks like the screen was cleared, but in the boot window only, not the entire screen). As more services start, they display graphically as usual and the black screen scrolls out of the window.
