I grabbed the CoOkEr version of Mandrake from Feb 6 2001 and I finally got a
chance to install it last night. Wow! It's nice to see all of the work
that has been done since the last public release.

I also noticed that Licq has been updated to 1.0.2 with SSL. Very nice! I
was wondering if someone could recompile the qt-gui plugin with
the --with-kde option for ./configure (might want to double check me, but i
think it is simply ./configure --with-kde). This will make the Licq windows
look more like KDE 2.0+ windows (visually much more appealing!) instead of
the drab medium-dark gray flat color & panel default. Also, using
the --with-kde option will allow KDE 2.0+ users to minimize Licq to their
system tray instead of taking up button space. This way it works more like
Winduhz, incoming messages will blink down by the clock. If your RPM's are
setup this way, people won't have to recompile it to get the new features,
they will be built in. This won't affect other Window Managers either.

Thanks,

Darren
