The 7.0 installation script builds an fstab that places the dos
partition at /mnt/DOS-hda or some such; on systems (like both of mine
;) where a dos partition was already in the fstab and used to link in
essential files such as fonts and sound files, this caused all
symlinks into the dos partition to fail, and that caused all my XDM
login accounts to fail.

If possible, we should check fstab first for any mount-point lines
referencing an msdos or vfat partition, and then use that mount-point
as the default.  This is probably not feasible, but it would be nice
if this mountpoint could also be propagated to any dependent
application config files such as WINE.
